Click for full size map

Two segments of the Forsyth County Big Creek Greenway will be closing this summer.

The first closure will be north of McFarland where the greenway crosses under GA 400 between mile marker 1.3 and 1.4. This closure is due to the bridge construction from the widening of GA 400. The trail will close on May 31st and is expected to reopen August 31st.

The second closure will be just from Union Hill north to the .4 mile marker. This closure is for repairs to the boardwalk which has buckled in a number of areas. This segment will close on May 31st and is expected to reopen August 31st barring any weather delays.

The Alpharetta and Roswell segments of the greenway will not be affected by these closures.
