\"Kimball<\/a>

Kimball Bridge Construction Detour<\/p><\/div>The Alpharetta portion of the Big Creek Greenway will be closed just South of Kimball Bridge while construction is completed on the new bridge and utilities are installed.\u00a0 The closure will take place from July 26th through September 30th.\u00a0 This will only be a small section of the greenway, but will force a detour on anyone wanting to continue South of Rock Mill Park or North of Haynes Bridge.\u00a0 A portion of the trail will still be open North of Haynes Bridge, but the closure will not allow continuing past Kimball Bridge.\u00a0 The length of the detour is 1.3 miles, replacing 1.8 miles of the trail from Haynes Bridge to Kimball Bridge. There are sidewalks available for the entire length, but it does require crossing some busy intersections.\u00a0 Please make sure you use the crosswalks and follow the lights.<\/p>\n

Detour when heading South from Rock Mill Park<\/strong>:
\nFrom Rock Mill Park you can follow the sidewalks on Kimball Bridge West to North Point Parkway. Follow North Point Parkway South to Georgia Lane. Take Georgia Lane to Haynes Bridge which will lead back to the trail at Haynes Bridge.<\/p>\n

Detour when heading North from Haynes Bridge<\/strong>:
\nTake the split in the trail that heads to the Haynes Bridge parking area.\u00a0 From the parking area head West on Haynes Bridge.\u00a0 Turn right on Georgia Lane.\u00a0 Turn right again on North Point Parkway heading North.\u00a0 Use the crosswalk when you get to Kimball Bridge and then head East on Kimball Bridge.<\/p>\n
