Phase 4 Date and Details of Forsyth Greenway Revealed

ForsythNews.com just reported some information about the next phase of the Forsyth Big Creek Greenway. The new phase will span from Bethelview Road 2.8 miles to Kelly Mill and Johnson roads.  The expected time frame for this phase is 1 year.  Once completed, this will place the existing Forsyth Big Creek Greenway at 9.6 miles total.

Details on a time frame for phase 5 aren’t available yet, as construction won’t begin until all property necessary is acquired.  Phase 5 will span up to Sawnee Mountain Preserve.

Also lacking are any details of the connection between the Forsyth Greenway and Alpahretta Greenway.

More details to come as they are available.

  • I was told by a neighbor that there will be a spur to the greenway coming into our subdivision, Thorngate. She then showed me a map and sent the map to me. I have been studying this map along with Google maps and it looks like it may be coming this way. If so, our family is Very EXCITED if this is the case. Can you confirm this and also let me know the planned access point for the trail.
By the way, this is my third time writing this email. I have no idea what victor's favorite color is!

  • I want to know when will be finished phase 4?
because this phase began in 2013 and now is finishing 2014 so please I wonder when it will be open to the public this new phases of the greenway?
