The Trail re-opened as of 10/4/2012.
A segment of the Alpharetta Big Creek Greenway that runs under Kimball Bridge Road will be closed from September 4th through October 4th. This segment will be closed while under water line construction. An alternative route can be used that goes between Kimball Bridge, Rock Mill Park, and fire station #6.

Jeff has lived in the North Atlanta Metro Area for most of his life. Growing up in Lilburn, GA, he has been a fan of hiking, biking, and boating since he was little. Now he lives with his wife and two sons in Cumming, GA. He walks the Forsyth Big Creek Greenway regularly and bikes it occasionally.
Is the sidewalk along Kimball Bridge allowed for bicycles temporarily? I don’t want to get pull over by a cop because of it… I can ride on the street since it has the bike lanes but there are a lot of construction items around. Please let me know if this sidewalk was meant for bikes and pedestrians to share during the construction, I didn’t see any signs.
